Custom SK-247

Here is a custom SK-247 which was the first knife design we made for Bliss Knife Works.

STEEL: the full tang blade on this knife is unique in that it is made of very similar layers of hight carbon steel. This approach is to make the Damascus highlights more prominent in texture rather than in color variation. One reminder, with high carbon steel you must keep this blade dry while storing otherwise it will rust. You must remember to keep a rag and oil in your kit for maintaining the blade. If there is to ever be a slight rust issue it is easily fixed with light sanding.

SCALES: Made from Wenge wood native of the Congo in Africa, the wood color is medium and light brown with a slight reddish hue. As it ages the wood can become nearly black. It is now listed as an endangered species and is becoming difficult to find.

USE: This is a fantastic multi-purpose knife, from a skinner to a EDC. The design is meant to be as comfortable as possible while still keeping aesthetics in mind.

I make these as people order them now.  I can use your choice of handle skins as Wenge is getting hard to procure.
