933 Buckeye Burl

This is a custom designed/built guitar.  The body is African Mahogany topped with Buckeye Burl from California.  The coloration is caused by a fungus that grows in it, causing the blackening.  It has a maple neck with a rosewood fretboard.  The headstock has a touch of the same Buckeye Burl. It’s equipped with locking Hipshot tuners, a Hipshot fixed bridge, 4 – 500K CTS control pots, Speed knobs, and a Seymour Duncan SH-4 on the bridge and a SH-2 on the neck. All of this delivers quite an amazing sound and the neck action is excellent.  The one pictured is number 0001 and it is sold. But 0002 is available and on the way.

I am starting my next build, it will have a spalted maple front, mahogany core, and a flamed birdseye redwood back.  The neck will have an ebony fretboard from Spain fitted to a semi-hollow body design.  If you have interest in buying one of my customs, contact me at 317-966-1430 or steve@blissworks.biz
