The Khalifa is a Seiko SKX-007 mod.
Looking through the Sapphire Crystal, the bold yellow dial is surrounded by a black chapter ring detailed with white and yellow second markers. While it’s bright in the daylight the hands and markers are nicely illumined in the dark.
The ceramic bezel insert has a high gloss finish with yellow engraved numbers. The black PVD Matte Finish “chunky” bezel creates a nice field of view perspective with shadows next to the matching case and crown.
The solid case back is engraved with a brushed finish displaying the limited “Bliss design” partnership with AWC Panama.
What keeps this on your wrist is a genuine leather strap embossed in a sailcloth pattern on the outer shell and a soft Nubuk genuine leather inner liner to rest against your skin. Should you choose to change straps it will be easy with the super strength “Brady Bars”. These are quick release, tool free spring bars made with solid 316 stainless steel.
